The major components of solar power system are as follow 

  1. PV Panels: this is used to convert sunlight into electrical energy inform of current


  1. Inverters: change the Direct current(DC) from PV array or battery into alternative current (AC) that can be ready for used in the AC loads

  1. Batteries:Batteries store DC energy from a PV array as chemical energy so that it can be used during times when a PV array is not producing power-namely, when it is dark outside 
  2. Charge Controllers: Regulate how much PV bower is sent into the batteries in order to ensure that the batteries do not get over charged.
